Synopsis

Randy, a 45 year old man, finds himself at the end of the trail. With his career falling apart, three failed marriages and bankruptcy, he soon finds himself at the moment of truth with a gun in his mouth. At the last possible second, as the trigger is about to hammer, his cell phone rings. It’s the neighbor of his widowed 67-year-old mother, Carol, calling to let him know that his mother has just been through a home invasion robbery and was tied up and gagged. Randy puts the gun down and heads to comfort his mother. He soon comes to the realization that his mother is the perfect woman. She offers unconditional love and support, great cooking, cleaning, laundry, takes care of him when he is sick and never yells at him. Randy moves in with her, as his marriage is over anyway and he soon finds that he has never been so happy, until his mom starts dating again. He freaks out at the thought of losing her to another man, so he begins to sabotage all of her dates. He even buys a trained Viagra-sniffing pit bull to expose the older men and their intensions. Randy finally meets his match, Grant, a handsome 75-year-old man, who is sharp as a tack and able to navigate through all of his antics.  Grant then invites Carol, along with Randy, on a Christmas Cruise to Mexico.  Randy soon learns that Grant has also invited his beautiful 39-year-old daughter, Lori, who is living with him after numerous failed marriages. Randy soon catches Lori trying to sabotage her father’s date, his mother, because she doesn’t want to lose her dad to another woman. The two of them team up and soon find that they have succeeded in ruining their parents relationship as both Carol and Grant want off the ship at the next stop to fly home alone. Randy and Lori end up in the bar drinking to celebrate their victory but suddenly realize how much they both have in common and fall hard for each other.  They suddenly find themselves trying to patch things up with Grant and Carol as this hilarious film comes to a climax, with a double wedding on the back of the ship.
